Background:
Sarah grew up in Gloucester.  She initally followed a career in science, and worked in microbiology research for a number of years after obtaining a doctorate.  Sarah developed an interest in the Law when she took a course with the Open University and went on to obtain a degree in Law. She completed her postgraduate legal practice course at Bournemouth University and completed her training with a well known local firm for whom she contined to work after qualifying as a Solicitor. Sarah is now a founder member and director of  Newnham & Jordan Solicitors.

Experience:
Sarah is an expert divorce lawyer and family lawyer specialising in all matters relating to divorce and family law including prenuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, separation, divorce, domestic violence, financial divorce settlements and disputes relating to the custody of children and contact. She also carries out conveyancing and property work as well as wills and lasting powers of attorney. Sarah adopts a sympathetic, sensitive & supportive approach, but is also tenacious and will be firm when necessary, so that her clients' situations can be resolved in the best way with the best possible outcome.

Hobbies and Interests:
Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, sailing holidays, walking and exploring ancient monuments. Sarah also spends many a Sunday afternoon watching Corfe Mullen United Juniors Under 14 football team's matches - and says that sailing gear comes in handy when the rain is horizontal on Corfe Mullen rec. She is a school governor and firmly believes in supporting the local community.
