We know that selling your home is not always that easy. So we have put together some top tips for when it comes to selling your home.

Tips for selling homesPets

No Pets4Pets, they are like marmite. Some people love them but some hate them. So when it comes to potential buyers viewing your property make sure your pets are out the house and any food bowls or baskets are hidden away. Also don’t forget the litter tray. The reasons for this is because what you could find is a pet lover will spend too much time focused on your pets and not enough time on the house. Pet haters will be on guard and not feel comfortable and try and leave the property as soon as they can.

Spring Clean

Making space

MovingWhen selling your home you want the buyer to think that they are getting all the space they need. So move out any bulky unneeded furniture. You could even change the layout of some rooms so you can gain the ultimate space.

De-clutter and De-personalise

Tall boxesAs soon as the potential buyers walks in you want them to imagine themselves living in your house. So grab a couple of boxes and pack any personal ornaments (any photos of you and your family) and any things you don’t use on a day to day basis. Then pack them away neatly in your attic, garage or even a family members house. Make sure the hallway is clear of any coats and clutter. As this is the first place a potential buyer will see when they view your home. Remember first impressions are key!

Target market

MarketThink about who will be buying your property? So tailor the space to fit with your target market. This might mean turning the spare room from an office back in to a bedroom.
